Andre Coindre Chapel

Location: 204 site
The original Andr茅 Coindre centre was opened by his Grace, Archbishop of Melbourne T.F. Little on 14th March 1981. The new Chapel also remains named after Andr茅 Coindre (1787-1826), the Founder of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in 1821 in Lyon, France.

The new Chapel was completed in 2015, with a pillar and its six-metre cross appearing phoenix-like above the College鈥檚 roofline, and is used for mass services, religious education classes, and year level Reflection Days. It鈥檚 a quiet space that our students have access to during school hours.

Blessed Benedict Daswa Hall

Location: 204 site

Our students are able to use this space for various Health and PE classes, lunchtime sport activities and even for different exhibitions like on our careers day.

The most important aspect of our Blessed Benedict Daswa Hall is that it can fit over 1700 people. The space can be converted to a hall that houses all students and staff for our whole school masses, assemblies and larger celebrations.

It gives students an opportunity to join in the College鈥檚 reading culture which is driven by the junior reading classes within the English learning area. The Library staff support the development of Information literacy and research skills in collaboration with classroom teachers.

There are also quiet spaces for students to sit and enjoy their personal reading. The libraries are treated as one campus library, so we do transport books between the sites to ensure that students have access to the entire catalogue.

Cafeterias

Location: 65 & 204 sites
Our cafeterias at 91短视频 Chisholm Catholic College are open for students during recess and lunchtime. There are various options available every day, with the menu changing to cater for seasonal menus. The cafeteria aims to supply healthy and nutritious meals for all students and staff.

Both sites meet the key criteria that demonstrate best outcomes for the College in quality, service, client satisfaction, financial management and risk management. The cafeterias operate a cashless system which allows parents to top up payment onto student鈥檚 ID鈥檚 cards at home, or students are able to top up at a student kiosk located around the College.

Our Cafeterias are also home to our Breakfast Clubs which operate every Wednesday before class. This gives students an opportunity to come together as a community to share breakfast.
